“For an event like this, we probably need about 1,200 volunteers to make sure we’ve got everything covered,” said Bernadette McIntyre, co-chair of the Festival’s Volunteer Services Committee. The committee needs a high number of volunteers to ensure that morale remains high and volunteers don’t feel overworked.
