“As much as I would like to be at Angel Stadium with Vladi Jr. at such a special place for me and for my entire family, I totally respect that he is now a Major League player and has a responsibility to the Blue Jays, to his teammates and to the city of Toronto,” Guerrero Sr. said,“It is his moment, not mine, and I respect it wholeheartedly. I thank God for the many memories that I shared with Vladi Jr. while in Anaheim. I’ll always be there for him in spirit and in all support.
