Virgin Galactic is targeting Thursday for the Galactic 01 mission.
Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc.’s stock rose 2.1% in premarket trades Wednesday on the eve of the company’s first commercial spaceflight.
Shares of the private spaceflight company ended Tuesday’s session up 4.8%, snapping a four-day losing streak. The stock is up 24.7% this year, outpacing the S&P 500 index’s SPX 14% gain. “Virgin Galactic’s unique spaceflight system is opening up a world of possibilities for scientists and researchers,” the company tweeted Tuesday.
