The Lanzador concept is Lamborghini's first look at what is going to become its first fully electric model
In fact, the new concept car was shown off next to the upcoming PHEV hypercar, in addition to a variety of other models, like the Huracán Sterrato, and the Urus Performante, in order to demonstrate how the brand’s future will grow from its 60 years of history.
According to Borkert, the design department really took that history into consideration: The window line recalls the Murcielago, the Y-shapes in the body sides were borrowed from the Sesto Elemento, and the side air intake is a nod to the Miura. “So, in terms of design, all the ingredients of a Lamborghini are cooked together into a dish that is tasting fresh, new, authentic, and it’s showcasing the future,” the designer explains.
