The Zooby brand video baby monitors were sold online from January 2022 through May 2023.

Infanttech on June 22, 2023, recalled more than 17,000 Zooby video baby monitors for use in vehicles because the battery can malfunction and start a fire, according to the U.S.

Consumer Product Safety Commission. Owners can get a replacement battery. Video baby monitors housed in plush animals for use in a vehicle have been recalled because the battery may malfunction and cause a fire.
