"If the current trend continues, this is where we're going to hit, but it may not continue."However, Victoria's Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton rejected the new modelling today, claiming he was doubtful the state's daily infection figures could plummet to 10 by the weekend.
"There are lots of models out there and lots of experts and they'll have different assumptions they put into their model.""If we continue at the current trend, we're going to hit somewhere around 30 by the time we come out of lockdown in two weeks' time on September 13," he said.
