An 89-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman were identified as the victims of a deadly house explosion in Pennsylvania, according to reports.
Authorities previously said the explosion occurred in Crescent Township, which is located in the Pittsburgh-area, Tuesday shortly before 9 a.m., Tomer described it as "a very significant explosion."Aerial video from KDKA shows the home leveled and debris scattered across the lawn, with first responders working the scene.
Allegheny County Emergency Services is assisting first responders in Crescent Township following a house explosion on the 1400 block of Riverview Road. This remains an active incident. The scene is in a remote location and we’re asking everyone to avoid the area in order to allow responders access," the county noted in a social media post.A man who lives nearby described it as "a massive" explosion that "shook everything for miles.
"Time to pray now that it's not one of our kids' friends' houses and hopefully nobody was home," the man noted on social media.
