Two people shot, killed outside Steam Pub restaurant in Bucks County
, a well-known bar and grill in a Bucks County shopping center — an incident authorities say was called into 911 by the suspected shooter.
Details were few as of Saturday morning, but police were called to the scene 11:31 p.m. with reports that multiple people had been shot and that a large crowd had gathered outside the restaurant — a converted train station located in a shopping center along Second Street Pike in Upper Southampton Township.
Authorities say they received “numerous” calls to 911 to report the shooting, one of whom identified himself as the shooter. He remained on the scene until police arrived and was taken into custody. Authorities did not identity the man and have not made any arrests. Detectives recovered a firearm at the scene and are reviewing surveillance video and trying to obtain additional video.
