Temoche was also charged with attempted murder for the stabbing of a 50-year-old woman who was also in the apartment at the time, Suarez said.
The second victim, 50, was also stabbed multiple times. She remains hospitalized with serious injuries and is in stable condition.
Harrison police responded to the apartment complex, located on Harrison Avenue between Schuyler and Franklin avenues, at 1:18 a.m. and located the two victims in the area outside building No. 6. Temoche was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Suarez credited the Homicide Unit, the Harrison Police Department, and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation and arrest.
