Vice President Kamala Harris is slated to make a visit to the Emerald City this Saturday.

According to the White House , Harris is expected to arrive in Seattle at King County International Airport at around 3:30 p.m. and is scheduled to depart later that evening at around 7:05 p.m.
Harris visited Seattle to discuss Joe Biden's administration's efforts to combat both inflation an the climate crisis.Harris discussed her administration's commitment to addressing the climate crisis with what she believes is the urgency it demands while building a clean energy economy that creates high-paying jobs.
Harris said the IRA, passed by Congress last year and signed into law by President Joe Biden, helped jumpstart clean energy jobs and provide tax cuts for electric vehicle buyers in particular.Biden landed at SEA in Air Force One just before 5 p.m. on May 10 and was greeted by several elected officials, including Gov. Jay Inslee, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, King County Executive Down Constantine, Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Rep. Suzan DelBene .
