The telecommunications giant's moves come as inflation continues to run near a 40-year high.

Starting in June, the telecommunications giant's wireless postpaid consumer customers will see an administrative charge increase of $1.35 per voice line to $3.30. The administrative charge for data lines will remain unchanged.
In addition, the company is introducing a new "economic adjustment charge" beginning June 16 for business customers. . The consumer price index, a broad measure of the price for everyday goods including gasoline, groceries and rents, rose 8.3% in April from a year ago, slightly below the 8.5% year-over-year surge recorded in March. Prices jumped 0.3% in the one-month period from March.
