Frederic Vasseur has revealed the man he replaced as Ferrari’s new F1 team principal, Mattia Binotto, helped with his transition

“The process was crystal clear,” Vasseur said. “Even if we had some rumours into the press during Abu Dhabi [Grand Prix weekend], we didn't discuss before.“Then I had a call with Mattia, and I even met Mattia during the handover. And we had a one-to-one discussion. Ferrari’s constructors’ world title from 2008 remains their last F1 triumph, while 2007 was the last time a Ferrari driver claimed the championship.
