A Belleville woman has been arrested following several incidents of vandalism in the Downtown District.
City police were called to the area of Front and Bridge Streets around 10 o’clock Wednesday night after someone saw a person painting words on business windows. Officers located the woman near the scene and charged 49 year old Melissa Maracle with Mischief under $5,000. Meanwhile a 19 year old Thurlow ward man had his vehicle impounded and licence suspended for seven days after being charged with stunt driving Wednesday.
