“More tents go down and more tents go up. It’s not getting any better,” Fry said. “It’s a matter of time before more lives are lost.”Police Chief Adam Palmer said it is becoming increasingly challenging to keep people safe in the area.

“I have had to replace my stuff, all of my belongings, five times this year alone,” said Rondeau, pointing to a pile of luggage he packed as the police moved in. The release said there are about 80 tents and structures remaining at the site.
