A woman was also injured in the incident
Emergency services were called to Flensburg Way, Leyland, at around 10pm when the Ford Transit and BMW X1 crashed. The van driver, a man in his 30s, suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries.
The driver of the BMW, a woman in her 40s, also suffered minor injuries. Police say no arrests have been made so far but have issued a public appeal for information of footage.A Lancashire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Our work is ongoing to establish exactly how the collision occurred. We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to police or, anybody with information regarding the incident.
