The Friends of St. Charles Public Library will hold its annual fall used book sale Friday through Sunday in the Huntley Community Room at the library, 1 S. Sixth Ave. in St. Charles.
The sale will run from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, organizers said. The book sale will include paperback and hardcover books, CDs, DVDs, computer and board games and more, according to library officials. On Sunday, shoppers can purchase a bag of books for $15 in a cloth library-branded bag. Established in 1979, the Friends of St.
A wide selection of household goods, kitchen items, linens, toys, games, books, clothing for all ages, shoes, furniture, tools, holiday decor, collectibles, jewelry and more will be available, sale organizers said. Adult clothing is priced at $1 per piece and children’s clothing at 50 cents per piece. Purchases may be made by cash or checks only. Credit or debit cards cannot be used, according to organizers.
