Can you help police?
Nottinghamshire Police have launched an appeal after a dog was reported stolen. A young Pomeranian named Nala is believed to have escaped from a garden in Churchill Drive, Newark on Friday, March 10.
The following week on Friday, March 17, a member of the public reported seeing a stray dog matching Nala’s description being picked up by a woman close to Sutton Avenue and placed into a vehicle, believed to be a black Mondeo. Since Nala went missing a number of missing posters have been distributed in the area. However, the whereabouts of the dog, aged two or three years, remains unknown.
PC Annie Bloomfield, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nala’s owners are understandably very upset and we are doing everything we can to trace her. We are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch.
