Urban South partners with Ben E Keith to expand Houston beer distribution
Urban South Brewery said Thursday it struck a partnership with Ben E. Keith distribution to bring its craft beer and hard seltzers to grocery stores, restaurants and bars in the Houston area.14,000-square-foot location
"We have our brewery in Houston, which has been our research and development brewery for the last couple of years. So, they've always been on the forefront of trying new beers, testing things out," Josh Bodenweiser, Urban South Brewery's marketing director, said. Ryan Rothermel, Houston division manager for Ben E. Keith, said breweries generally do not seek to sell in markets statewide all at once and start with one or two markets first, usually one that includes a big city like Houston.
