On Sunday at 3:20 p.m. an updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid until 3:30 p.m. for Camden County.
Updated: May. 26, 2024, 3:31 p.m."At 3:20 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Chesilhurst, or 18 miles southeast of Gloucester City, moving east at 10 mph," states the weather service. "Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible."The weather service comments, "For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding.
