"I crawled into this bathtub right here and laid down. I laid down like this, and I pulled the shower curtain closed," Blaine Schmitt said as he relived the moments a tornado ripped through his home. "It blew the windows all out instantly."But there’s one power in his life that even Mother Nature couldn't wipe out.
His 1- and 3-year-old kids and their mom were minutes from home when they turned around to avoid the tornado. After the tornado tore through another corner of the community, John Sprague rushed to rescue his neighbors from these flipped A-frames.
