It's the first song off my album, and I've always felt like that song has this intro, Welcome to UMI kind of melody, feeling. And also, more so on a personal journey, I feel like self-forgiveness is one of the first steps in your evolution and your progression. So I wanted to start with authentically apologizing to myself and letting all that out before I even get to the rest of the songs.
TV: Did you have any intentions that you set for yourself before you took the stage? Or did you do any pre-show rituals to get ready?I actually wrote out some intentions, and I shared them at the top of the show as well.
