On April 7, Harry announced the new design on his Instagram Stories, encouraging followers to swipe up to shop. "Stay home. Stay safe. Protect each other," thereads on the front. The back also features coronavirus-related motifs that read, "This t-shirt fights COVID-19. Treat people with kindness."
The shirt retails for $26.00, and is currently on preorder. According to the website, 100% of the t-shirt profits will go toward the World Health Organization’sThe shirt is part of Harry's "Treat People With Kindness" merch line, which takes its name from a song on his second album,Proceeds from Harry's TPWK merch usually go to charities, so it's no surprise that efforts to fight COVID-19 would be included.
Harry has already made public his efforts to help flatten the curve and protect his fans, band, crew, and himself from the virus. On March 25,that he was postponing his European tour until 2021, writing, "For the safety of yourself and others, please self-isolate. We’re all in this together. I can’t wait to see you out on the road as soon as it’s safe to do so. Until then, treat people with kindness.
