The goal is to streamline the process and allow the refugees to apply for humanitarian parole while they are in Europe and be able to fly directly to the U.S.
SAN YSIDRO PORT OF ENTRY – There are still a number of Ukrainians in Tijuana waiting to gain entry into the United States.
But due to a recent policy change, there are some additional steps they’ll need to take before setting foot on U.S. soil. KUSI’s Matt Prichard was at the San Ysidro Port of Entry with more details on what these folks are facing.
