A massive Russian cargo plane that has been grounded at Toronto Pearson International Airport for more than a year will be confiscated by Ukraine, the country’s prime minister says.

The plane was in the same spot on Monday that it's been parked in at Toronto Pearson for more than a year, according to visuals captured on the CTV News Toronto helicopter.When CTV News Toronto contacted Global Affairs Canada about the plane, spokesperson James Emmanuel Wanki told CTV News Toronto “Canada and its international partners will not stand idly by as President Putin attacks Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the rules-based international order.
