UK told to brace for snow showers in the coming week.
The longer days have been a much-needed boost for many BritsBut winter is making another comeback, with the Met Office warning of snow over the next week.
The entire UK will get colder later this weekend with a ‘northerly airmass’ to blame for plummeting temperatures.Scotland, Northern Ireland and the East coast of England could all see the white stuff.In a statement on their website, the Met Office said: ‘The area of high pressure currently located over Scotland will move away to the West at the start of next week, allowing a northerly airflow to sweep across the UK.
‘The introduction of an arctic maritime airmass will bring snow showers to Scotland, Northern Ireland and along the East coast of England from Monday. Cloud will continue to spread westwards through this evening with a few showers continuing in places ð§ï¸ Clear spells will remain for northwest Scotland, west Wales and southwest England allowing a patchy frost to form here ð
