A third travelling from Luton Airport tweeted: "We are currently 2hrs 30mins into our flight and we are still on the ground." Heavy snow has forced roads to close across Surrey and Hampshire, with the National Highways issuing a "severe" warning for drivers in the South East and South West."Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services. Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
