Conor McGregor will make his return as a UFC coach on “The Ultimate Fighter,” Dana White announced Saturday. He’ll coach against lightweight Michael Chandler before they face off in the octagon.
Chandler makes sense for a couple of reasons, the first being simply he’s one of the most exciting fighters on the entire roster. The longtime Bellator lightweight champion, who joined the UFC in 2021, has 31 career fights and almost none of them have been boring. Chandler can beat you on the ground — he was an All-American wrestler at Missouri — and on the feet. Go watch his front-kick KO of Tony Ferguson or the first-round finish of Dan Hooker from his debut.
