The debates will take place at Dickinson College and will be broadcast by PCN and livestreamed by PennLive and other participating news organizations.

Two debates featuring U.S. Senate candidates will be held at Dickinson College on April 25 and 26.PennLive, as part of an unprecedented coalition of media organizations, will host U.S. Senate candidates in two debates in advance of the May 17 primary election.

The second debate, to be held April 26 at the same time and location, will feature Republicans Kathy Barnette, Jeff Bartos, George Bochetto, Sean Gale and Carla Sands. Other candidates may be added to the lineup. The debates will be broadcast by PCN and livestreamed by the participating media companies. They will be held before a live audience, but due to COVID-19 precautions and security protocols, they will not be open to the general public.

The 90-minute format will feature a moderator and veteran journalists from the host news organizations, and the discussions will focus on the most pressing matters facing Pennsylvanians. The campaigns had no role in determining the panelists or the topics.
