Trump ally, charged with lying to Congress, has already received underlying evidence to his case, prosecutors said.

By Spencer S. Hsu Spencer S. Hsu Investigative reporter Email Bio Follow April 30 at 1:25 PM Federal prosecutors told a federal judge Tuesday that they do not plan to give Roger Stone a full unredacted copy of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report, saying that the Trump confidant had already received materials such as witness statements that are relevant to his case.

Federal prosecutors are due to reply more fully to Stone’s requests by Friday, but ahead of that deadline Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Kravis of the District of Columbia, the lead prosecutor, stated the government’s intent during a brief status hearing Stone attended Tuesday in Washington. In court Tuesday, Kravis said the government does not intend to give Stone’s attorneys further unredacted portions of Mueller’s report “absent an order from the court to do so.”
