India has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Asia and more U.S. states are easing lockdowns
India overtook China to become the country with the highest number of coronavirus cases in Asia, while U.S. lawmakers were trying to drum up further stimulus as disruptions from the pandemic weigh on the economy.
The House narrowly passed a $3 trillion coronavirus-relief package late on Friday, after data released earlier showed that American consumers pulled back on spending and factories cut output at the fastest pace in decades.
