On Friday, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra announced new resources and actions to protect reproductive health care for Texans after the state banned abortion at six weeks and the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the ban to go into effect on Sept. 1.
Secretary Becerra announced three measures HHS will take, including:reinforcement of legal protections for pregnant individuals or persons experiencing pregnancy loss in Texas.
