Two people killed in Oceanside car wreck [Breaking]
Emergency crews were called to the single-car accident about 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of state Route 76 and Airport Road, where the Dodge sport-utility vehicle slammed into a light pole, police said.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the car fully engulfed in flames and two bodies inside, according to police. The names of the victims were being withheld until family could be notified, police said. It was not immediately clear if drugs or alcohol were involved in the fatal accident. Police said the case remains under investigation.
