Police arrested two Cleveland men Sept. 25 after catching them in possession of a stolen Ford Econoline van outside Motel 6.
MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – Two Cleveland men, 46 and 38, were arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25 after they were caught in possession of a stolen Ford Econoline van outside Motel 6, 7219 Engle.
Police spotted the Econoline backed into a parking space in the Motel 6 lot. Two men, later identified as the suspects, were in the hotel lobby. The men stepped out of the building and walked toward the van.When the men noticed police, they walked away from the Econoline. Police stopped them. Both men admitted having possession of the van but the older man denied knowing that it was stolen.
