Man cried out for help but rescuers could not initially find him in the thick tules of the Delta.
A boater missing in the Delta since Saturday was found alive Monday morning after rescue crews discovered him east of Big Break near Oakley, authorities said.
AMR and East Bay Regional Park District assisted but could not locate him. Instead, they came upon a boat that was taking on water with a man and woman in their 50s inside, according to Costa Fire Protection District spokesman Steve Hill. Hill did not know how long the two had been stranded in the boat, but they were taken ashore by ConFire rescue boat and a commercial service was called to tow their boat.
