Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey told Ilhan Omar he won't take down Trump's tweet targeting her
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey directly told Rep. Ilhan Omar during a phone call Tuesday that he stands by the decision to allow President Donald Trump’s tweet that targeted the congresswoman and later resulted in a wave of death threats against her.
Omar asked Dorsey to explain his reasoning behind Twitter not removing Trump’s tweet, according to the Post. Dorsey reportedly said the tweet did not violate the company’s rules and that the incendiary video had already been viewed and shared beyond Twitter’s platform.
