Twitter has permanently suspended GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's personal account, citing violations of the platform’s Covid-19 misinformation policy
WASHINGTON— Twitter Inc. permanently suspended one of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene ’s verified accounts, citing repeated violations of the social-media platform’s Covid-19 misinformation policy.
“We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy,” Twitter said in a statement Sunday. The platform’s policy states that account holders “may not use Twitter’s services to share false or misleading information about Covid-19 which may lead to harm.”
