Twitter insiders reluctantly agree with some of the revelations from whistleblower Peiter Zatko

Twitter committed fraud with its accounting of monetizable users so he can back out of his $44 billion acquisition of the company.

A former Twitter executive admitted that"a company can meet all regulations and be fully compliant and still have weaknesses." To be sure, some Twitter insiders questioned Mudge's motivations. Others noted that he didn't seem to try to address these problems while he worked at Twitter. The company said Mudge was fired.

Internally, there was little visibility on any efforts Zatko may have been making to do the work of a chief security officer, according to some insiders."He was at all hands occasionally," one worker said. But beyond that, the most interaction this person had with Zatko was emails about personal computer and office security, this person added.
