The EU has also called for an investigation into the killing of Palestinian civilians by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement on Twitter, the EU said Israeli forces killed 10 Palestinians in the past three days “in what appears to be an excessive use of lethal force.” It said 140 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in 2022, making it the “deadliest year since 2006.”2/2 2022 is the deadliest year since 2006, with 140 Palestinians killed. According to Int’l. law, use of lethal force is strictly limited to situations in which there exists a serious & imminent threat to life &limb.
