The TTC is releasing a mobile app to make it easier for riders to report harassment and safety issues to transit controllers.The release comes as Toronto policeHowever, it is not connected to emergency response services. In the event of an emergency, you are still urged to call 911 .
Passengers can report concerns about safety, harassment or suspicious activity on TTC vehicles, or at stations and bus stops. The ‘Report a Problem’ button lets you send photos and messages to Transit Control at any hour of the day. If you are on the subway and not able to connect to WiFi or cell signals, the app will store your complaint and send it once your phone is back online.
