TSB has revealed it is pausing loans on new builds for 10 per cent deposit holders amid continuing concerns about homeowners falling intoHouse prices are predicted to drop dramatically over the next year, with many forecasting that they will fall by between 10 and 15 per cent.
Nick Morrey of Coreco: “Anyone buying a new-build home with a product less than five years runs the risk of negative equity in the next 12 months.TSB is believed to be pulling its low-deposit products in response to these fears.
