In the wake of Donald Trump’s attempted assassination, Amazon has issued a statement emphasizing that The Boys’ similarities to real world events are completely coincidental.
The Boys has always reveled in its lampooning of the US’ fraught political landscape, but following the recent Trump rally shooting, Amazon has retitled the show’s season 4 finale and added a new disclaimer stating that the show is not meant to be a reflection of reality.
