Tropicana has launched a new cereal specifically designed to have orange juice mixed into it.
Tropicana has introduced a limited-edition cereal that is designed to be eaten with orange juice."Because whether you hate it or love it, you won't know until you try it," it said in a press release.The unique product will be available to purchase on May 4, 2022, to commemorate National Orange Juice Day, per a company press release.The cereal, named Tropical Crunch, includes honey almond clusters that are made to be "drowned in OJ .
According to the company, it is the first cereal of its kind. Tropicana did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment made outside of normal working hours. "Orange juice on cereal. Some call it weird. Some call it breakfast. We . . . didn't even know it was a thing," Tropicana said. It added, however, that according to a recent survey, 15 million Americans eat cereal with orange juice poured over it instead of milk.
Following the announcement, people took to Twitter to express their excitement, while others disapproved of the new product.
