Tropical storm warnings have been issued for parts of Central America.
Tropical Storm Bonnie will cross Central America overnight with flooding rain and strong winds before moving into the eastern Pacific Ocean. The latest warnings are shown on the map below and include parts of the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Nicaragua and Costa Rica.The latest National Hurricane Center forecast shows that Bonnie will bring winds in excess of 40 mph to Central America Friday night into early Saturday, but heavy rain is the biggest threat. It's likely that Bonnie stays intact while crossing Central America and then re-emerges as a storm in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
