Lennox and Addington OPP laid three separate stunt driving charges on Highway 401 over the weekend.
A 29-year-old man from Scarborough was charged around 10 p.m. Saturday night after a motorist was clocked travelling 157 km/hr on Hwy 401 west by Palace Road. Around 3 a.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old Brampton male was stopped in the same area for allegedly travelling 181 km/hr. Sunday afternoon officers observed a vehicle travelling 171 km/hr, stopping it in the eastbound lanes by County Road 41and charging a 54-year-old man from Brockville.
All three were charged with stunt driving, had their licences suspended for 30 days and vehicles impounded for 14 days and will appear in court in Greater Napanee at a later date.
