Tributes have been paid after a body was discovered by police in the search for a beloved Airdrie man.Following a search by police for the missing grandad, a body was recovered on Tuesday, March 7.His daughter shared a post on social media following the tragic news.
She wrote:"Thank you very much to everyone who has shared the post to help find our dad, unfortunately, a body has been found and is confirmed as Martin.One person wrote:"Sending love and thoughts to you all. Such a lovely man, so sorry for your loss."A tribute read:"So sorry for your loss, absolutely heartbreaking.Another said:"So sorry for your loss, thinking of you and the girls at this very sad time."A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
