The Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the Polar Prince’s involvement in the operation that lead to the fatal incident with the Titan submersible.
Yesterday, the United States Coastguard announced that an ROV had found a debris field at the site of the Titanic, indicating a “catastrophic implosion,” killing all those on board. The TSB says, because the Titan’s support vessel, the Polar Prince, is registered in Canada, they will be conducting a safety investigation regarding that vessel’s role in the situation.They say updates will be provided as the situation progresses.
