The Dallas real estate development firm is already a partner with Austin billionaire Michael Dell’s investment arm in a huge project in the neighborhood.
Now a company represented by Crow Co. has gained control of more than an acre of retail buildings at the southeast corner of Knox and McKinney Avenue. The storefronts are leased to tenants including Chuy’s Restaurant and Mattress Firm.The developer signed a 99-year lease with the owner of the Knox Street corner that will allow for construction of a new project, according to county records. MSD Capital already owns other properties on the same block.The Crow Co.
Dallas’ INS Software is eyeing an office lease of up to 100,000 square feet on Knox Street, according to reports from commercial property firm Transwestern.
