We've reached the end of the road in the outdoor track season.
The NJSIAA Meet of Champions is officially upon us.
This year’s meet will be held at Franklin High School in Somerset, beginning with the field events at noon before action on the track gets started at 1 p.m. It’s a meet that will have a different feel as Nike Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, adidas Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina and New Balance Nationals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania cause a direct conflict, leaving some events dry of the state’s top talent.
The show must go on however and the show still projects to be a good one. Here are the previews for all 18 events on the boys and girls’ sides.: Keep in mind, some coaches are still planning the events in which they want to use their runners, especially in the distance events. Some picks and previews could change leading up to Saturday.
