Date published: Wednesday 29th March 2023 4:17 -Daniel Levy’s ‘tempestuous temper’ has reportedly put Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim off the prospect of replacing Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham are aware that they are unable to attract a new permanent head coach with just ten league games left of the 2022/23 campaign. But the club’s president – Frederico Varandas – is aware Amorim will move on ‘sooner or later’. This is even though a €30m release clause is included in his current contract.Jamie O’Hara thinks it would be an “unbelievable appointment” if Spurs are able to bring in Nagelsmann.
