Toronto police say a wanted woman evaded arrested by hopping in a stolen SUV and hitting three vehicles as she fled, including a police cruiser.
Officers went to make the arrest Tuesday around 8:15 p.m. in the Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue area.During the attempted arrest, officers say she fled in a stolen Mercedes GLC SUV, hit a cruiser, mounted the sidewalk and hit two other vehicles in a busy plaza, endangering lives. Colbie Harris, 31, of Toronto is wanted for dangerous operation, operation while disqualified, three counts of fail to stop at scene of accident, three counts of fail to comply with probation, theft of motor vehicle, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and fail to comply with release order.Anyone with information can call police at 416-808-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 .
